As Isabelle and Serge await the arrival of their 2^nd child, they are overjoyed for more than the obvious reasons.  Their 1^st child, Coralie, is a survivor of childhood leukemia.  The parents along with Jeremy,  Isabelle’s son from a previous relationship, lived the trauma of fearing Coralie’s early demise.  Today, they feel reassured because the umbilical chord blood of the newborn will be stored, and will carry the hope of Coralie’s survival should the cancer return.
